Terms & Conditions of Service

1. Nature of the Service

SHHHH provides an air-gapped, privacy-engineered printing infrastructure. Unlike conventional retail print shops or commercial online photo portals, SHHHH does not maintain staff operators who review, inspect, crop, or curate customer images.

Our infrastructure comprises isolated, dedicated Epson EcoTank L8050 photo printer nodes situated in secured metro facility hubs across India. When a user completes an order, they receive a time-bound lease granting unilateral command authority over an individual printer. You personally transmit the print command via a direct, encrypted client-to-printer hardware bus.

2. The 15-Minute Hardware Lease Agreement

Each booked order reserves an uninterrupted 15-minute physical hardware window:

• Mutual Exclusivity: While your 15-minute lease is active, the physical printer is marked offline to the global scheduling queue. No other customer or batch order can access that device.
• User-Controlled Execution: The physical print heads will not cycle until you open your secure single-use session link and explicitly press the “PRINT NOW” command.
• Window Expiration: If you do not trigger printing within your booked 15-minute lease, the printer is unlocked automatically for subsequent queued customers. You may contact support at support@shhhh.in with your order token to reschedule a new window without penalty.

3. Pricing, Minimum Quantities & Payment

All prices are stated in Indian Rupees (₹ / INR) inclusive of applicable taxes. Pricing is governed by our published commercial tariff:

Discreet, tamper-evident courier shipping across India is charged at a flat rate of ₹80 per order. Payments are processed securely via authorized Indian payment gateways (Cashfree / UPI / NetBanking / Cards). SHHHH never stores credit card or debit card numbers on its servers.

4. Finish Options (Matte vs. Gloss)

Customers may select either Gloss Finish (260 GSM resin-coated photo paper for high dynamic range and deep optical blacks) or Matte Finish (260 GSM velvety fine-art cardstock for non-glare, fingerprint-resistant presentation).

Customers can choose their finish during order configuration or adjust the finish per photo directly within their active darkroom session before pressing print. The physical lab technician sets the designated paper tray media prior to session opening, and driver parameters (pt_photopaper vs. pt_matte) are mapped automatically.

5. Customer Content & Acceptable Use

You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all photographs and documents you print through SHHHH. By using our service, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the copyright or have express authorization to reproduce the uploaded imagery or text.
• The content does not depict child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual sexual content, terrorism, hate speech inciting violence, counterfeit government identity credentials, currency, or materials prohibited under the Indian Penal Code or Information Technology Act, 2000.
• Because our printing pipeline operates headlessly without human pre-screening, you accept sole legal liability for content you submit to the physical print engine.

6. Courier Packaging & Discreet Delivery

All orders are fulfilled via our Blind Courier Protocol:

• Finished prints are transferred face-down directly from the printer tray into an opaque black archival sleeve.
• The sleeve is heat-sealed inside a reinforced, tamper-evident courier parcel with zero exterior photo previews and zero branding indicating “photos” or “sensitive memories”.
• The sender address is designated strictly as “Archival Media Labs”.
• Delivery is fulfilled nationwide across India within 5 to 6 working days via tracked courier networks.

7. Data Deletion Commitment (DPDP Act Compliance)

In strict compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and our Zero-Storage Manifesto:

• Your photographs and documents exist solely in ephemeral browser RAM and volatile printer buffer memory. They are wiped upon hardware ejection.
• Your name, phone number, and physical street address are retained strictly for delivery logistics and courier tracking.
• Upon delivery confirmation (or upon clicking the manual “Scrub Data Now” button in your order tracking dashboard), all customer PII is irreversibly purged from our database.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SHHHH, its operators, or technical facility partners be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from courier transit delays, third-party carrier handling, or electrical outages. In the event of a verifiable physical hardware printing defect, our maximum cumulative liability is limited to either re-issuing a complimentary printing slot or issuing a full refund of the order value paid.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Any unresolved dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
